How to Forward Calls on Verizon
Verizon uses three star codes for call forwarding on mobile phones: *72 forwards every call, *71 forwards only the calls you don't answer or are too busy to take, and *73 turns forwarding off. You dial them from the phone whose calls you want to forward.

Open the Phone app on your Verizon phone.

Dial *71 followed by the 10-digit number you want calls sent to (no spaces or dashes), then tap Call.

Wait for the confirmation tone or message, then hang up.

Test it: call your number from a different phone and let it ring. The call should reach your forwarding number.
Good to Know
- Verizon says there's no monthly fee for call forwarding on current plans, but forwarded calls are subject to your plan's usual calling charges.
- Dial the codes from the phone you want to forward, not from another line.
- Use *73 to switch forwarding off before changing from *71 to *72 (or back).
